We’re thrilled to announce that our director, Shelley Puariea, has been honored with the Community Citizen Award from East Hill Grange No. 786! This recognition celebrates Shelley’s 35+ years of service with the Boys & Girls Clubs in Puget Sound and her impactful leadership at Federal Way Senior Center. She oversees our Nutritional Meal Program, Community Garden, and Food Bank, working with partners like Food Lifeline, Safeway, and Costco to support our community. Shelley also organizes weekly lunches, bingo, and senior programs. Her dedication truly makes a difference! Congratulations, Shelley, on this well-deserved award, presented on May 8, 2025.
